On Wednesday November 4th, Lucas Guitar will begin opening 5 days a week.

It’s been a long time coming.

Eight years of designing, prototyping, testing and refining.

Four years operating as a small cottage-industry player in the guitar marketplace.

Making an entry into the business world requires a leap of faith, especially an entry into the fast-changing music industry. There is a certain degree of risk involved – but on the other side of the coin: many great past achievements, powerful learning experiences and the wonderful connections made with great customers.

There have been numerous milestones along the way: beautiful guitars such as Delta Queen and Bløodlust, the introduction of home-grown pickups, the building, launching and constant refinement of the website including making it mobile-responsive, significant repairs and repairs for marvellous players, online mentions from notable admirers… it’s been a great journey so far, and it’s only getting better and more inspiring as I continue on the path.

• Guitars: Demo, off-the-shelf, unique custom
• Availability: Open 5 days (Tuesday – Saturday)
• Added services: Pickup building, flat-rate local pickup &/or drop off

At this point I’d like to say a great big ‘thank you’ to the many people who have encouraged and supported Lucas Guitar since its inception. Like any solo business there are so many people behind the scenes that have helped out; mentors, coaches, suppliers, family and friends – and of course the excellent customers whose passion for guitars continues to inspire me.
